Oh I would love to see pictures of your neighbor’s blossoms! I don’t think we could grow them in Pasadena. My mom has a friend from back east whose favorite flowers are peonies and for years she tried to get them to grow but it never worked. I just love them!!!

My neighbor shields her peonies from too much sun or rain with umbrellas. I love it. Their blossoms are still a couple weeks out here in Cambridge.
