Thank you for sharing your news! It was a weird and hard admissions cycle for a lot of different grad programs, apparently. But you’re already doing some amazing writing right here, so I think you’re winning at the artistic life even without the degree programs. Always love seeing your flower art, too!
Thank you so much!! I need all the good vibes I can get! It’s too late for Boston, but I’m still waiting to hear back from NYU and the Sewanee workshop. It would be so great to be able to go!
I loved the two expressions a lot, especially the second one, which suggests that we don't always recognize our own natural talents, but then suddenly, they emerge.
I love the expression as well! Those are two different possible translations when is a direct translation and the other is more of an explanation of what it means! I do think it’s a wonderful reminder to go with the flow and that there’s so many things that are just outside of our control no matter how hard we try!

Oh, fingers crossed you get in! And the expressions -- true! Love the quince. May it bring you good luck!
I’m so happy you noticed the quince! It’s such a beautiful blossom!
Beautiful expression and ikebana. I love it! Sending you all good vibes that the waitlisting turn into acceptances ❤️
