A lovely article Leanne. Could you tell me what the Japanese word for ‘stepping on the blue-green’ is. Unfortunately I can’t read the kanji but imagine that ‘Aoi’ is in there somewhere. 💙
typo.. meant to write spring... and it comes from the ancient Chinese custom it says... stepping on green grass going on outings... like picnics I think!
